The opening of the economy to the international market resulted in more exposure to market laws. Companies started to need to ensure their survival, demanding the increase of productivity and competitiveness; it was necessary to rationalize processes, modernize and improve corporate management. This “crisis” created a favorable environment for the Total Quality Management System.
Jumil, always attentive to economic changes, rapidly recognized the need to get adapted to the new market, starting in 1994 studies about NBR ISO 9000 Norm, for later implementation of its processes, according to the requirements of the above referred Norm.
In 1996 it received the NBR ISO 9001 certification, through “Carlos Alberto Vanzolini” Foundation, which remains certified until the present date by the version of NBR ISO 9001:2008 norm, certification also internationally recognized by IQNet - The International Certification Network.
With the NBR ISO 9001 standard, Jumil guarantees to its customers products and services compatible with the international quality norms, in every equipment produced by it.
